The Mission
In August 2026, amid growing international concern over declining suntans, underfilled minibar refrigerators, and the uncertain strength of frozen resort beverages, His Grace, the Duke of Hebron, departed Kentucky on an urgent six-night diplomatic mission to Mexico. Accompanied by Duchess Jill, the Duke traveled aboard a specially designated commercial aircraft before being transported by an elite shared-shuttle motorcade to the temporary Royal Embassy at Planet Hollywood Cancun.
The mission carried several objectives of global importance: inspect the beaches of Costa Mujeres, evaluate the strategic depth of the swim-up bars, test the structural integrity of a Junior Suite Swim Out, and negotiate the immediate delivery of eight Coors Lights, four waters, six Pepsi Blacks, and five coffee creamers—with all regular Pepsi products formally expelled from the royal territory.
Armed with $500 in emergency diplomatic resort credits, the Duke conducted high-level meetings at Guy’s Burger Joint, surveyed the lazy river by personal flotation vessel, and strengthened Mexican–Hebronian relations through a rigorous schedule of ceremonial dining, responsible alcohol consumption, and poolside observation. After nearly a week of tireless service, the delegation returned safely to Kentucky having prevented no wars, signed no treaties, and accomplished absolutely nothing of measurable geopolitical value.
