Everything You Wanted to Know About the Duke of Hebron
And several things you absolutely did not.
And several things you absolutely did not.
Is he really the Duke of Hebron?
There is documentation. There is a certificate. There is a letter. There is an entire section of this website devoted to proving it. At this point, questioning it just seems rude.
Should I address him as “Your Grace”?
Is it required? No. Is it encouraged? Absolutely. Will he answer to Ryan? Usually.
Does the Duke actually rule Hebron, Kentucky?
No. Boone County officials have been surprisingly unwilling to surrender municipal authority.
Does the Duke live in a castle?
Technically, no. But it has a mortgage, a garage and Wi-Fi, which are three things most medieval castles lacked.
Is he royalty?
Depends entirely on how much research you're willing to do.
Did President Donald Trump really have something to do with all this?
There is a letter. There are documents. There's a whole page about it. The Duke's mother also got involved, which is generally how major geopolitical events begin.
Was the Duke really in Seabiscuit?
Yes. The 2003 film starring Tobey Maguire, Jeff Bridges, Chris Cooper, William H. Macy and, significantly farther down the call sheet, the Duke of Hebron. Look around 1:40:48. Don't blink.
Was he also in Secretariat?
Yes. Unfortunately, Hollywood wasn't ready. His scene was cut from the finished film. The Academy has never formally apologized.
Is the Duke an actual author?
Disturbingly, yes. In 2026 he published Donny Blames the Goose, proving that Amazon will sell books written by virtually anyone.
Is he actually a doctor?
This question has been referred to the Duke's legal department.
Does he have an MBA?
Yes, from Xavier University. Unlike several other credentials on this website, this one involved homework.
Is he really an ordained minister?
Yes. Weddings performed by the Duke are believed to be legally binding. Marriages themselves remain subject to the usual terms and conditions.
Can the Duke heal people by faith?
His credentials say Faith Healer. His attorneys strongly recommend maintaining your health insurance.
Is he really certified to responsibly serve alcohol?
Yes. Of all his titles and distinctions, this may be the one society needed most.
Is he a Kentucky Colonel too?
Yes. Duke. Lord. Colonel. Reverend. Doctor. MBA. Author. Certified Responsible Alcohol Server. LinkedIn eventually asked him to stop.
What does the Duchess think about all of this?
Jill has been married to him for decades. At this point, she's seen worse.
Who is next in line for the Duchy?
Aidan and Owen presumably have claims. Neither has shown much interest in overthrowing their father.
What about Emmie the cat?
Emmie recognizes no monarchy other than her own. Negotiations remain tense.
Does being Duke come with any actual power?
Yes. He can turn the thermostat down whenever he wants. Unless Jill changes it back.
Can the Duke knight someone?
He can certainly buy a sword and make a ceremony out of it. Whether anyone else recognizes the result is another matter entirely.
Can I visit the Duchy of Hebron?
Certainly. Hebron is conveniently located near Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Please understand that most residents have no idea they live in a Duchy.
Does the Duke have security?
No. But there is a Ring doorbell.
Does the Duke collect taxes?
Not yet.
Why does this website exist?
Because having all these titles and not creating an unnecessarily elaborate website about them would have been irresponsible.
Is any of this going to his head?
Of course not.
